Freudian slip … Vidiot and Videographers get PBS Newshour shoutout!

April 24th, 2011

We were doing our nightly news scan yesterday watching this story, on PBS Newshour about the controversy brewing over “Three Cups of Tea”, when we got Slurpied [see Glee].

PBS gives shout out to Vidiot -- VideographyMargaret Warner, one of the most polished reporters on TV, improvised when she read the teleprompter and clearly announced “One — Vidiot — Videographer came out with a statement today”.

We heard it with our own ears and immediately went to PBS Newshour to view again the video and the transcript.

The exact time in the interview of the “slip” began at 7:10 into the clip. When we scanned down to the “transcript” they changed the words out of her mouth to “One — another — a videographer came out with a statement today saying”.

Perhaps they were afraid to offend videographers because they don’t know the deeper meaning of Vidiot(s), modern humans with mind empty/ready to be filled with new information.

We were watching this report for material on an upcoming article, “The Charity Tax” … coming soon!

FOX News is “Crazy Like a Fox”!

March 23rd, 2011

Dateline: Oceanside, California – Screenshot and commentary by Bob Kiger – Videography LabMost misleading headline in Nuclear History?

If you believe this “Foxy” headline, and the lead paragraph of their story, the Fukushimi Dai-ichi plant accident was the most disastrous peacetime nuclear event in history. THIS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE!

It indicates the path for “News Corp”, Fox’s parent company, as they move “fast to secure new revenue streams for the media giant.

Fox is not alone in cluttering our brains with divided truthine$$.

Almost all media has been distilled/reduced to sensationalism, appealing to the prejudices of one group vs. another, in order to make profits. Say it ain’t so?

“Cruiser Bob” Kiger announces candidacy for US presidency

January 26th, 2011

Somebody’s got to do it. Stand up against the ever increasing popularity of Barrack Hussein Obama! The State of the Union speech, viewed live, seemed inspirational and yet the audience lacked passion. Gone were the constant interruptions by one side of the aisle or the other with standing ovations that we have all become accustomed to in addresses to joint sessions of Congress. Gone was the passionate outcry “You Lie” from the Republican side of the aisle.

Will we have to listen to civil conversation for two years until the next presidential election is over? Yikes! With no competition we might as well just close down the New Hampshire Democratic Primary and let the Tea Party have all the fun. Obama can’t debate against himself!

Luckily for the nation “Cruiser Bob” Kiger, known on Maui as the “man with the plan” leaped into the breach with this “Declaration of Candidacy” before the Obama speech.

Declaration of Candidacy for President of the United States

I, ROBERT MORRIS KIGER, swear under penalties of perjury that I am qualified to be a candidate for president of the United States pursuant to article II, section 1, clause 4 of the United States Constitution, which states, “No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.”

I further declare that I am domiciled in the city of Oceanside, county of San Diego, state of California, that I am a registered member of the Democratic party; that I am a candidate for nomination for the office of president to be made at the primary election to be held on an [as of yet] undisclosed day of January, 2012; and I hereby request that my name be printed on the official primary ballot of said Democratic party as a candidate for such nomination.

I further declare that the language above is exactly worded as it is on the New Hampshire “Declaration of Candidacy” [RSA 655:47] as of this 25th day of January, 2011 and that the reason an “undisclosed” day has been entered is because the New Hampshire, Secretary of State, has not yet disclosed the exact date of the NH primary.

I could not wait longer to declare my candidacy since “The State of the Union” speech is scheduled in less than three hours hence and I wanted to go on record as a Democrat in favor of the “Constitutional Option” to change the rules of the United States Senate before hearing that speech, especially since tomorrow, January, 26, 2011 is the only day when the Senate can vote by simple majority on rules changes for the upcoming session. These rule changes directly affect part of my Platform as a candidate; specifically I am advocating for THE CONSTITUTIONAL OPTION TO CHANGE SENATE RULES AND PROCEDURES: A MAJORITARIAN MEANS TO OVER COME THE FILIBUSTER. Details of this option can be read at:

Other planks on my platform include:

  • Sociable-engineering on infrastructure, energy and Job Creation
  • Better Living through Bicycling and especially Electric Bicycling
  • Restoring Standards and Practices for Journalism and All Media in America
  • Learning to live within our means in a Global economy
  • Common Sense approaches to Wellness, Contentment, and Stress Reduction
  • Eliminating “Homelessness” in America
  • Supporting education that encourages Wisdom for our children’s sake
  • Campaign to overcome FEAR in America

May the Almighty Bless and Preserve America! Kiger is self-financing his campaign at a cost well below the FEC minimum limits.
