The Human Network in "The Age of Videography"
If one picture is worth a thousand words, than this commercial from Cisco Systems does an encyclopedic job of portraying the essence of world citizens engaging technology in "The Age of Videography"
The commercial, however inspirational, does not show Americans using technology to drive themselves into an early grave . . . speeding down freeways at 80 mph with a cell phone propped on their shoulder while shoving egg mcmuffins in their face.
It also does not show those humble folk, the Bushmen of the Kalahari, who were recently allowed to return home to their ancestral hunting grounds and who are only interested in Blackberries that they can eat .
